The lower part of the floor-to-ceiling windows doesn't add much at all. Better 2 sqm windows horizontally than vertically.

Yes. Cola is known to taste better than from a glass.

It's quite simple. If we omit the upper part of the floor-to-ceiling window, you get the look of a cave. Light enters at an angle, and when it comes in at a height of 30cm, it doesn't penetrate deeply into the room. Apart from the fact that there are also objects in the rooms

However, a sideboard, a low shelf, a desk, or a bed still fits in front of a dado window

Technically, the vessel from which you drink is not insignificant when it comes to taste. In this respect, a very good comparison. Because it's similar with windows. In the end, as always, the first duty of a builder applies. Decide!

A narrower (about 80cm wide) floor-to-ceiling window is nothing more than a badly criticized window band by you – only with the difference that the light entering only illuminates a narrow channel in the room, as has well explained. Better to have a 160-200cm wide parapet window that can illuminate a 3-4 meter wide room well and more permanently. In front of a parapet, you can very nicely place a desk or shelf. good decision!
