How do professionals install laminate at the corners?

My husband uses a laminate fitting tool. I once looked over his shoulder and with this helper he marks the corners and edges on the laminate. Then it fits perfectly. He does not make extra templates.

We dared to lay the laminate ourselves. The corners and doors are quite tricky. We also made templates and then drew them onto the linoleum. Better to mark a little generously than too narrowly.

That's actually quite simple and experience helps here. So, in a new building, the laminate is laid first and then the door frames are installed.

In an old building, the laminate is laid up to the door frame, cut out, and fitted. I measure it precisely and no templates are required for this.
