Hello,
maybe someone still remembers our 42m long embankment, which we originally wanted to make solid at 90°. But since all these solutions would break our budget, we will do it the natural way and create a slope that will then be planted with ground-covering bushes. We will receive soil in the next few days, with which we want to shape the slope (there is still quite a bit of soil missing up to the boundary). Now the question: Do I have to compact the soil specially? Can I do it with a wheelbarrow, shovel, and tamping down, or does it have to be done by an excavator? Then a slope net or a mat will be placed on top to prevent the soil from washing away. Do you have any tips on what is good and affordable?
