How can I protect my 4x4m wooden deck from the sun and add greenery?

May I ask what the dimensions of the pergola are (is it bought or self-made? What did it cost approximately?)

Thank you - but that is only a photo from the advertisement. It is available on the Outflexx homepage from a few manufacturers. I myself had a version from an Israeli manufacturer with a tent roof made of twin-wall sheets and retractable side parts in my last house. But I can no longer recall the name of the manufacturer.

We had such a pergola... at the hardware store they sell them every year starting at about €450. I think in 3 x 4 and 4 x 4... We had the one from Bauhaus. The fabric flapped off in the second year. Then we attached these reed mats on it... two years ago a storm destroyed the entire pergola. Nevertheless: it served us satisfactorily for several years.

Palram was the manufacturer. Now probably Palram-Canopia. It's different from what you get at the hardware store - but also different in price.
