By the way, we have listed the house and had a lot of viewings and reserved it for a family from the 3rd day. They then went in a week later with a building expert and got the approval there and have been clarifying the financing for a week now. For comparison offers, they would now like to allow about another week.

How long does such a sale normally take?
We actually have no stress and enough interested parties in case the current ones should drop out for any reason. But practically, it would of course be good to be able to go to the notary soon.

What are your experiences?

By the way, we would make the purchase price payment towards the end of the year and could still live in it for a while in case of emergency.

Please don't let yourself be stalled because something still needs to be renegotiated. Put some pressure on by negotiating with others as well. Whoever then commits bindingly, i.e. appoints a notary, will get it. Whoever wants to buy will easily get it done within 14 days.

We required at least one financing confirmation before the reservation.
A house sale does not have to take long.
We sold old and "bought" new and everything went quickly. If the bank gives the green light, it goes fast. If there still needs to be back and forth negotiations, it only annoys you.
Remember: you are not a good Samaritan but a seller with good goods. They are in demand and you are not dependent on a quick deal.

Yes, we are probably too nice [emoji85][emoji23]. Well. We'll wait and see how the week goes. And then hopefully it will continue.

Completely ok and natural. After all, that's what you would expect yourself. (How often, actually always, is it predicted here that you shouldn't let yourself be pressured by the seller... even worse: the seller pressures you? Then please go to the next one, he's not worth it. Yes, I know: GUs or BUs are meant, but it's still the same situation.

If someone else gets in touch and wants to strike, you can inform the other party. So I would also continue to receive visitors/buyers ;)

Well, it sounds like already has a significant waiting list, I wouldn’t take anyone else on. It’s just unnecessary stress and effort.
