To continue this thread: We have found our house, but not for the asking price. The price was somewhat higher, but it is also a show house that has already been built ready for occupancy, including the garden. The house is located about 20 KM outside of Cologne. The Cologne area in general is, in our experience, completely overpriced. Likewise, the so-called energy-saving houses 70. We now have an energy-saving house 90 including approximately 275m² of land and a garage. The infrastructure in the village can be described as good. A shopping center and doctors are available, as well as public transport and a train station. Handover is no later than 31.01.2012. We are looking forward to it.
