Hello,
we bought a plot of land from a community of heirs and divided it equally at the same time. This means that presumably one plot keeps the old house number and the other gets an addition. So house number "52" and "52A" or something similar. For emotional reasons, we would like to keep the "old" house number and have an addition for the other part of the property. We would therefore like to kindly ask if we could possibly have some influence on which half of the property gets the addition.
Can someone tell me who is responsible for assigning house numbers in Bremen? It says there that this is a state matter.
Neither the "Katasteramt," surveyor, nor notary knew exactly. How can I find this out?
