House entry base plate for heat pump outdoor unit

I had planned with the house builder to have a KG pipe through the floor slab for the heat pump lines. But my heating engineer preferred through the wall because the pipes are so thick and stiff. Now I have both. So far, no mole has stood in the utility room...
