That might be tight, though. The land is probably not the problem, but with 200,000 EUR you probably won't make it. I personally find 110 sqm small for a house. It should really be 130, below that I would tend towards an apartment.

If you have a lot of own effort and then support from the family and stretch the financing over 30 years, then it can work, if there is still room for income increase. But that also means having to calculate every month. At least childcare shouldn't be a problem for you.

What about used houses? If you are handy, that might be something for you.

Hello tbb76

Thank you for the reply!

We have been looking for a used one for a long time, have also viewed several already. That would of course be the best! It is also my opinion because you know what you have! But unfortunately, there hasn’t been a suitable one yet, especially since the prices for some properties are set very high. But maybe we will still have a bit of luck and a good one will come up. We still have time!

We just thought it’s better to take out a loan when young so that we are debt-free faster! And we don’t have to pay it off until retirement.

Best regards

I just took a quick look at Immoscout, there isn’t much there, but the price level is low. It can of course still be too expensive, it’s always relative. Our overpriced huts would still be bargains in Stuttgart.

Yes, unfortunately true. The differences are really enormous.
