It always depends on the local conditions, collective bargaining agreements, and company size.
In the greater Ingolstadt area, this income is easier to achieve than in Bautzen.
At Bosch or Valeo, the salary is easier to achieve than at Meister Röhrich.

6,000 gross as an entry-level salary is not the norm, but with a few years of professional experience and company affiliation, it is definitely no longer uncommon. In our area, CNC turners achieve this salary when they work in shifts.

IG Metall EG13 40h with some performance allowance in BW is 6,000€ gross. The tariff goes up to EG17, so this is far from the end of the line as a regular employee. As already mentioned, but of course only at TOP companies.

It always depends on what a TOP company is for you. What is important here, first and foremost, is that the company is bound by a collective agreement. And compared to Audi, Valeo is not a top company, but rather a medium-sized supplier. Compared to Meister Röhrich, Valeo is of course a real top company – it’s all a matter of perspective.

In the end, everyone is the architect of their own fortune and can choose their employer in addition to their profession.

Yes, who doesn’t know them, the CNC turners with 6k, who thus earn over 80k p.a. including special payments. And yes, I know, at Porsche and Audi even the cleaning staff and door rubber beaters start with 50k. What these 1% of the total population have to do with the "big picture," however, I do not understand. It simply makes no sense to use a few lucky individual cases to assess the whole. Therefore, the statement that 6k is not a special salary is, of course, nonsense when stated so generally.

In 2019, the average gross monthly salary for full-time employment was just under €4000 gross. Men earned about €180 more, women about €450 less. The average gross household income in Germany was just under €4850 in 2018. Anyone earning €6000 gross monthly as an employee clearly belongs to the higher earners. How "special" that is certainly depends on the focus group of one's own environment. The figures already show that building a house in Germany is only something for households with well above-average income. I see that as a systemic error. According to the construction cost index on Statistica, construction prices rose by 28.1% (!) from 2015 to 2019 - much more than incomes. When you, , ask how some people here could afford all this and who can still afford it, the construction period plays a major role. Quite a few could realize the same project next year that was possible for them just last year. Source of the figures: statistica.

Well, with 25 years, very few build as well. You have to save for several years.
