Thanks for your answers. In my case, the earthworks contractor also made the inspection shaft. And this is located about 2m away from the municipal drainage network. I just can't imagine how that should cost 3500, but one is often surprised in this regard
That can certainly be the case. There is civil engineering involved, breaking up and restoring roads. Permits. And, at least here, one must not forget that the municipal wastewater utility only allows handpicked companies to make connections to their sewer network. That may also play a role in the pricing.
