House brochures - hard to believe

I am sure...our house..as it is now with the materials used and many "special" solutions no general contractor can do cheaper. They would probably all be significantly more expensive. We once had an offer from Kern-Haus..right at the beginning. What they charged there...I could only laugh out loud

Steffen....but that's not the question here. You go to a developer or general contractor, that is clear, if you can live with standard products and don't want or need very special solutions. You also can't compare an off-the-shelf wardrobe with a custom-made one from a carpenter. And of course, supposedly they can all do individual work. But that's just a slogan. The further away from the standard, the more uneconomical it gets with them. Too many people make money from it, brochures, salespeople, trade shows, transportation routes across the country....K

But there are countless other intermediate solutions between a carpenter and a large furniture store that allow you to make your furnishings look completely individual. However, this is not visible in the brochure... There are no catalogs anyway, as they are too expensive and too standardized, which does not fit the provider's offer.
