Hello,
we are currently in the final phase of our construction (painting work).
We have now discovered a horizontal crack in the plaster. Length approx. 1.20 m. For the width, a photo is attached. Is the crack concerning?

No, you will still get many such cracks over time. Unfortunately, that is normal. And this one is really tiny...

Fiber fleece would have helped, then you wouldn't see the cracks. Not dangerous, just looks stupid.

this nonwoven fabric, what actually is it? I don't know it from any of my colleagues and we don't have it ourselves either. Does it occur more in the North than in the South?

Painter's fleece is a robust bonded underlay that prevents cracking caused by "moving walls" on wall surfaces.

The crack is neither dangerous nor attractive.
