As already says, a ventilation unit does not have a dehumidifying function (at least 99% of the devices do not). The e² from Lunos is apparently a fan for pendulum operation with a ceramic heat store. So there should be two fans alternately blowing air in and then extracting it again. However, since the fan does not have an enthalpy option, it initially does not have moisture recovery. Could it be that the fan in the bedroom is coupled with the one in the bathroom and you are directing your humid bathroom air into the bedroom? What makes me suspicious is rather that you are reaching a value of 70% in the current season, and that despite ventilation. At the current temperatures, values of 50-55% should settle more. Either your rooms are very small and you generate a lot of humidity yourselves, or you have another source in the apartment (plants, aquarium, water damage above you?).

But I also have 65% inside and currently 73% outside. This is currently - with a ventilation system - probably an appropriate value. It is 21 degrees in the house and outside between 14 and 19 degrees (less at night).

Of course, it always depends on the local climate. Currently, we have rainy weather here at 13 °C and 91% RH. Even this humid air, when heated to 21 degrees, results in only 56% humidity. If you have a ventilation system AND also ventilate manually, you should hardly exceed 60% here. 70% are certainly possible but should not occur over several days under relatively cool temperatures and partly dry weather - despite ventilating.

Well, data changes so quickly when temperatures differ. 85% at 17 degrees becomes just under 70% at 20-21 degrees.

I don't see any relatively cool temperatures here. It has been a while since we had single-digit temperatures at night, and accordingly, there's fog soup in the morning. Except when it rains. Just a mild [konstanzer] autumn (think of Asterix in Britain "is it always this foggy where you are?"). Currently, the necessary temperature difference is missing here to get the humidity under 60% by airing out. 3-4 degrees cooler and the situation would look quite different.

This morning outside with us 12 degrees and 91 percent humidity. Inside 20.5 degrees and 64% humidity.

Ventilate or rather not???
