Hello forum community,
we are quite specifically interested in a semi-detached house, but I have no idea about one thing and also feel a certain skepticism towards it.
It is about a solid construction semi-detached house. The developer has advertised it as a KFW 55 house.
Heating is provided by a gas condensing boiler and solar (only hot water, almost 5m²).
The exterior walls are 24cm brick masonry, on the basement concrete tub there is roughly 12cm insulation, looks like Styrofoam. Otherwise, exterior plaster states: thermal insulation composite system, insulation thickness 14cm according to thermal protection verification.
Many large windows (especially on the south side) with triple glazing UW value 0.9.
So far, only exhaust air is planned in the sensitive rooms, no heat recovery. Supply air probably through "intentionally leaky spots"? The performance specification does not clarify this yet, but it is supposed to be included later.
What do you think about this concept, and can it result in a Kfw55 house? I am especially surprised by the "simplest" exhaust system. When asked, the developer does not necessarily recommend central ventilation with heat recovery. He says the system does not pay off. If at all, he can recommend decentralized ventilation systems with heat recovery in some rooms, of course for an additional cost.
