thank you for the response, but then it is not classic laminate, but rather vinyl flooring.

How about some kind of wedge strip like in the attachment (there are probably other colors, etc.). You could use that to even out the height difference. I can't really judge if it looks nice though. But I would probably be bothered by an edge like yours, where you keep bumping your feet. Or some kind of curved profile that you stick over the edge?!? It's certainly not pretty, but you could give it a try.

I would glue on a quarter circle profile made of black PVC with a height of 8 mm. Simply saw off the "overhang" beforehand.

Laminate floating? Just put underlay mats underneath up to the height of the tiles. Otherwise, I would install a small transition profile.

It can’t stay as it is. That’s life-threatening! (Toe hurts)

What became of the whole thing? I would be interested to know. We also have a spot like that in the kitchen/dining area. We tried impact sound insulation there. But it's not optimal either, as you can notice that you slightly "step up" about 1-1.5 meters.
