Height adjustment between tiles and laminate

Hello,

we had tiles and laminate flooring installed on our ground floor. Unfortunately, no suitable transition profiles were installed at that time. This is increasingly bothering us now. The height difference is about 9mm. Drilling is out of the question because underfloor heating is installed. I would imagine that the profile would then be glued to both types of flooring. I couldn't really get any help at the hardware store. Also, my online search was not really successful. Can anyone give tips and help here?

I find profiles significantly uglier than a clean edge. My advice: leave it as it is before you get even more upset.

Is that really laminate? The print then looks very realistic. Really like floorboards. May I ask which manufacturer and model series? In response to your question, I might suggest wooden strips. Maybe you can get them in a similar color/grain, and then you just look at wood instead of metal. But I would also leave it as it is.

A profile just makes it much worse.. The right thing would have been to raise the screed, or the solution from Neither is probably possible anymore, so we'll leave it as it is.

Yes, it is vinyl laminate from the brand Joka 839 Barrel Pine.

I had feared that there is no truly sensible solution.
Having the screed raised – unfortunately, we didn’t think of that at the time. :(
