Good morning everyone,
I have a question:
Next week, after 6 weeks, the screed will be heated up at my place.
This raises the question for me, does ventilation need to be done during the heating phase?
If yes, should it be ventilated by opening the windows fully once a day or kept tilted continuously?

I would like to have my windows taped off already so that the painter can do the first coat at the end of the heating phase.

Thank you very much.

According to the instructions of your screed layer. Normally, you will receive specific instructions on how to heat and ventilate the screed... But generally, ventilation is of course necessary.

Exactly, according to specification, if warranty is important to you.

In any case, ventilation will be necessary. You cannot barricade the windows now.
The painter can only come in once the tropical temperatures caused by heating are a thing of the past - and the plaster is dry.

Just asking bluntly: Where should all the water go if you don’t ventilate and the windows are sealed? You could say: Welcome, dear mold. And the painter can’t just paint over that ;-) By the way, tilted ventilation is very bad, as hardly any air exchange takes place. Regular airing by opening the windows wide briefly is the method of choice.
