Dear forum,
one thing upfront: yes – every screed is different. It does not dry according to the calendar etc. I know that.
My concern is whether I need to reschedule the dates of the commissioned follow-up trades (here especially: tilers) or if these are realistic.
Initial situation:
- timber frame construction
- 186 sqm on 2 floors
- no exterior plaster yet
- no filling and painting work yet
- no basement
- recent outside temperatures are known
- otherwise the house is "sealed" (windows, roof, front door, everything present)
About the screed:
- cement screed (brand unknown, screed layer on sick leave)
- 7 cm
- laid on 22.12.16 – so exactly 6 weeks old
- no "accelerators" added
- ventilated according to regulations
- functional heating from day 21 => finished on 25.1.
- since 25.1., the underfloor heating has been running at a low level so that the underfloor heating does not freeze at these temperatures
- during 2 of the heating-up days, the conservatory was installed: building was open
CM value:
- measured yesterday: 2.8
Further (planned) procedure:
- underfloor heating has been reheated since today (heating for readiness to cover)
- from tomorrow, 2 condensation dryers will be put into operation
To the question:
The tile laying work is planned from 13.2.
a) How realistic is it, with our initial situation and planned measures, to keep this date?
b) Or with which further measures can we keep the date?
c) If the date is not realistic, what would be realistic?
d) asked differently: are there graphics or similar showing by how many percentage points the CM value typically decreases over a certain period during heating for readiness to cover on average or under optimal conditions or or or?
Thanks
P.S.: If I have forgotten any information – sorry, I will gladly provide it later. And again: yes, I know, you are not clairvoyants. I just want a somewhat realistic assessment, as I absolutely cannot judge this myself.
