Heating in the kitchen "necessary"?

Good morning everyone,
I have the following question. We want to renovate/remodel an older prefabricated house from 1978 soon. To create more space in the kitchen, we would like to remove the radiator. Now, the consultant from the kitchen company pointed out a heater (model Kickspace 500) in the plinth, which could be connected to the normal circuit and would save the cost of a larger radiator.
The question now is whether a radiator is absolutely necessary in the kitchen?!? Presumably, there are different opinions on this, but I would like to hear them.
For example, my parents no longer have a radiator in the kitchen because the door to the heated living room is always open (except when cooking, but then it’s “warm” anyway).
I have attached the plan. Below the kitchen is currently the room for the oil tanks, but these are to be removed as we are switching to gas. The room below will probably become a bathroom. Oh, and a door will also be installed towards the living room, which will presumably always be open unless cooking is taking place in the kitchen. The kitchen layout will also be different; this is an old plan from before, the cupboards will be rearranged to allow space for the passage to the living room. Seating in the kitchen is also not planned.
What do you think, is this plinth heater necessary? Otherwise, we would save about €500 and could invest it elsewhere. Plus, I don’t particularly like the look of this heater in the plinth.
Thanks.

I would definitely install them. Having is better than needing. Above all, the 500 € should hardly make a difference in the overall financial effort, right?

I would not plan a room without heating.

Here, I would first do a proper kitchen design and then check how much space remains for heating. There are also very narrow, tall radiators, there is the baseboard heating, there are towel radiators, etc.

Baseboard heating has the small disadvantage that the baseboard height must be at least 12 cm. So if you want to work with as tall units as possible for storage (keyword 6 grids), you should also plan to achieve at least about 93 to 95 cm working height in the design to ensure the 12 cm is maintained.

: Yes, theoretically the 500€ (could also be a bit more, possibly with craftsman costs etc. I estimate 600-700€) doesn’t really matter, I agree with you on that. However, I just suspect that the heater is relatively unnecessary, at least it doesn’t bother my parents that there is no heater in the kitchen anymore. So I’m reluctant to have something installed that I might not even use and which I don’t even like visually. But still, thanks for your tip.

: Kitchen planning was done and the baseboard heater was recommended to me in order to have space for the refrigerator. The kitchen isn’t that big, so I don’t really want to hang a radiator on the wall. Baseboard height is 12.5 cm, that was taken into account.

Possibly is the magic word. You don't know it yet. I would plan some form of heating. A towel radiator, as suggested by kbt09, sounds like a good solution, for example.

Baseboard heaters are not really effective and basically a waste of money.
