Hello everyone
I am currently facing a heating decision for a house with a floor area of 35m2. It is to be expanded by a maximum of one room of about 12m2. Heating load approx. 6-7 KW. The roof (south side) is also developed. Windows will be replaced & later insulated. The goal is to be able to live there at least partially on a permanent basis (2-3 people) – so not just a weekend house. Gas, district heating, and pellets are excluded.
The following options are available:
Option 1
- Air/water split heat pump bwl 1s with Variotherm underfloor heating
- Wood stove
- Solar thermal later
Option 2
- Heat parquet
- Wood stove
____
Other considerations:
We looked at the heat parquet in a 120 m2 house. There, electricity costs of 100 euros per month were incurred for heating. At first glance, this seems to work very well.
Especially with option 1, one could use a wood stove with a water jacket and have a good combination with a small solar thermal system.
The construction costs are significantly higher with option 1, but operating costs are probably lower. Although with such a small house, operating costs are probably affordable for both options.
Practically, with option 2 it gets warm immediately and the installation is simpler and in particular requires less space.
_____
It would help me a lot to get some advice and tips.
Thank you very much and best regards
