Heat pump & central residential ventilation

Hello, what options are there to connect a central ventilation system (with heat recovery) to a heat pump? I would like to preheat the air to the rooms in winter and precool it in summer.

Ok, I know that the air exchange is not as high as with an air conditioner, so the cooling effect in summer will not be very strong. But maybe somewhat supportive? If you use the heat pump for cooling in summer, you cannot make the underfloor heating extremely cold (unpleasant because of a hot head and cold feet) due to the dew point. But if you precool the air and can remove some humidity, you won't have as many problems with the dew point.

If you can also cool with a heat pump, why then purchase an air conditioner? That would mean double costs, purchase, installation, electricity, maintenance, and repair.

You simply can't, because the medium is wrong. An air conditioner is also a heat pump and does exactly what you have in mind. It doesn't unnecessarily cool the water in the underfloor heating but acts directly where it is necessary on the warm air, from which energy and moisture are then removed.

Those are then double costs, purchase, installation, electricity, maintenance and repair.

You also have these if you try to develop a mix from two devices not intended for this purpose, which is then supposed to take over the function. Because without major reconstruction and investment costs, your controlled residential ventilation remains a controlled residential ventilation and your heat pump for water heating remains a heat pump for water heating.

But could an air conditioning unit be subsequently connected to a controlled residential ventilation system, thereby saving the installation of new indoor units and new supply lines? Are there controlled residential ventilation systems that have preparations for this?
