Hi!

In the age of fast food and convenience meals, the question arises: how is our diet really doing? It is striking that fewer and fewer people truly know how to cook. Many actually live day by day on frozen pizza and canned food. And this cannot be healthy in the long run!

When you consider how much dead food people shovel into themselves, you also understand why more and more civilization diseases are spreading. You are what you eat! And since malnutrition only really becomes noticeable after many years, I believe that the consequences will only become truly visible in a few years.

Anyone who has ever enjoyed fresh vegetables straight from the garden will know the difference! Most of the fruit and vegetables you buy in the supermarket are worthless nowadays. Lettuce that is already wilted, tomatoes that taste like water, and apricots that aren’t even ripe yet: and you still have to pay for that!

What do you think about this?

Best regards,
[Gartenbau] :)

Hello horticulture!

I can only agree with what you say! I believe very few people can even distinguish parsley from chives anymore. I often wonder how it could have come to this. Food is actually one of the most important things there are. And if people constantly stuff themselves with food that no longer has any nutritional value, then their energy will one day run out as well. Exhaustion, burnout syndrome, mood swings are among the consequences that are preprogrammed.

The time we live in is characterized by constant stress. Most people have stress: whether at the workplace or in private life. The pressure to perform is enormous. How can one withstand all that if one does not eat high-quality food? For a certain time, it can "work out." But eventually, it avenges itself massively!

hi!

what you say is definitely true. fewer and fewer people make the effort to put something homemade on the table. I would like to point out that many children eat only unhealthy food from a young age. how is a child supposed to develop properly if they always eat just junk food?
it's funny to observe that cooking shows are booming on TV. it seems that many prefer to watch cooking rather than do it themselves.

fanaticism is not necessary!

hi,

i think the same as you. anyone who feeds on junk will definitely get sick from it sooner or later. no doubt! and yet these health fanatics annoy me soon enough. i think anyone who mostly eats healthy can also afford to eat something unhealthy now and then. in my circle of friends there are some of these fanatics, you just have to say that you once in a while went to mc donald`s, and then you get scolded as if you were immature...

best regards,

Hello,

so right at the outset: I am certainly not a fanatic, because fanaticism is definitely a much greater evil than unhealthy eating. I think if you decide for yourself that you only want to eat healthily, then that is commendable. But when you go so far as to want to impose rules on others, that’s where the fun ends. There is nothing wrong with trying to educate others, but if they don’t respond, then you should leave them alone. It doesn’t achieve anything anyway, except pointless discussions.
Such behavior is sometimes almost compulsive and pathological.

What I also find bad, as Mara has already indicated, is that parents don’t make sure their children get high-quality food on the table. Because children cannot really assess this problem.

It is noticeable that many children are already very overweight. And this affects not only the body but also the soul.

Hello,

many people usually don’t even have time to eat healthily. Those who have worked hard for 8-10 hours a day are mostly not very motivated to spend another 1-2 hours in the kitchen after work. You just want to put your feet up and relax. That’s why reaching for canned soup or going to McDoof is of course more convenient and above all saves time.
