Hi guys,

just a question:

How does it work if I want to have halogen or LED spotlights in the [FERTIGDECKE]?

We are building solid with prefabricated walls and prefabricated ceilings.
Is it possible to specify the spots in advance, like with the sockets as well?

What would be more advisable?
Halogen or LED?

If yes, how many do I need in the individual areas?

Regards Florian

Hello!

So, since you can order cutouts for a fireplace and/or extractor hood, that should also be possible.

Personally, I would rather not use LED and certainly not halogen (as recessed). My last apartment was almost completely equipped with 20-watt cold light mirrors. And I actually thought 200 watts should be enough for a bathroom.....

I now have LED as outdoor lights (6 watts). A very “unhomely” light, not exactly excessively bright – but at least economical.

In terms of the style of recessed lights, energy-saving lamps would fit quite well.....

Currently, I am not really happy with any variant. We are currently buying new lights too – mostly halogen and very energy-wasteful (alone above the dining area 200 watts).

Best regards, Tomtom.

Exactly that is what I wanted to know. Which one is the best? I know that there are now also LEDs that turn on warm light, which you can hardly distinguish from halogen, but are more economical. But unfortunately, I have no idea about it. That is why I asked here.

So it is true that LED light is quite "cold." But on the one hand, you can still do something with colored films or similar, and on the other hand, LEDs are the future. What I want to say is that even if there is nothing to your taste right now, in the future something will surely come onto the market that you can make use of. You already have the "Fassungen."

Hello. It is true that there are LEDs in two variants: warm light and cold light. We installed two different lights in two children's rooms because the children wanted it that way: one more bluish and the other more yellowish. There is a certain installation depth, depending on the manufacturer 4-11 cm. You have to take that into account. However, we suspended the ceiling and installed them there. The lamps are very economical, we received a rebate from the electricity provider this year. Can only recommend. Regards

Good morning!

Not quite – he already has the HOLES. Low-voltage halogen, for example, is two-wire with a larger conductor cross-section. Not to mention the different sockets (in the present!).

Lowering the ceiling is more flexible, doable on your own – but at least in a design with wooden panels, a completely different construction style!

Best regards,
Tomtom.
