Just for your information, our shower is 130 x 100 and still water splashes out. So you will hardly be able to avoid that...

And you have the showerhead in the middle? Best regards

We have it in the middle of the short side (but it is a Raindance) and the open side is the short opposite side...

We built it in our guest shower 150 x 90 like this:
Concealed valve outside the shower area, approximately next to the marked shaft.
Connection angle and hand shower also in this area as they are rarely used.
Shower arm and overhead shower centrally in the shower area.
