GU, customer service and communication extremely frustrating

The argument was, don't annoy the [GU] but ask the craftsmen. But if I sometimes miss them and those I do meet almost only say "ask the [GU]", who in turn is regularly unreachable for weeks, then it doesn't work.

No, at least my statement was clear: make your agreements exclusively with your contractual partner, whose agents without power of representation can neither make binding commitments to you nor accept termination changes from you. If you circumvent him anyway, he can repair that by tolerating it, but legally it is not clean. [All this, including the note that a WhatsApp message does not fulfill the written form requirement, are my opinions and not legal advice] I will never understand how clients, simply because they are non-merchants, can behave in a house construction as if it were a pocket money business.

Well, so far you have been somewhat reserved with the questions you specifically have, not those related to the construction schedule, see #31.
