Then your wife complained that it was sloppy and you pulled out the DIN and said "You only see it from the hallway...!" :P

Yes, I was also surprised by what tolerances are still acceptable according to the standard.

Is the light spot caused by rubbing off? In other words... was the "tint" removed there? Or are they dried glue residues?

Does my warranty expire if I drive my vehicle 70,000 km in the first 2 years and therefore have 2 oil changes and inspections done?

On the contrary... the warranty expires if I do not perform this service that the manufacturer explicitly requires...

The only question here would be whether you do the intensive care yourself or if the floor installer has to do it.

Warranty does not expire regardless of whether service is performed/maintenance is carried out, it is a legal entitlement

What you mean is a manufacturer's warranty, where rules can be set as to when it applies

With the floor, however, the idea is not bad at all, report it as a warranty case "poor material quality" then the installer and manufacturer will argue about who is to blame, maybe a usable solution will come out of it

Can the warranty case only be reported by the person who bought the floor?
