Geothermal probe or groundwater possible?

For our upcoming construction project in Brandenburg, we would like to have a geothermal heat pump with a ground probe again, or possibly a groundwater heat pump like in our current house.

Unfortunately, I have not yet found any fundamental information from the state of Brandenburg on the internet about where such projects are excluded from the outset.

Since we do not yet know exactly where we will build, I cannot call "the municipality" yet.

Groundwater heat pumps are likely to become a bigger problem in water protection zones than brine-water heat pumps. And water protection zones are more common than you might think, at least in our area. But we are also much more densely populated here. Have you checked the geoportal of your federal state to see if this or that also makes sense?

Geothermal portal of Brandenburg provides information. However, caution with the extraction values based on existing drillings in the "Nähe", the conditions at your exact property can differ significantly.

I have already failed multiple times at the Geothermieportal :-)

But I will look into it again once it is clear exactly where we are going to build.
