I am aware of cases where the color of the mailbox is prescribed! :-) So far, this is actually a rather minor issue. However, if the restrictions relate, for example, to the system technology or the building envelope (e.g. roof), a separate consideration from an economic perspective is certainly advisable before signing any contract ;-)

Yes, the thing with the trees is also included with us. For every x sqm of undeveloped area, one tree from the list. The height of the wall along the sidewalk must not exceed x cm. Trash bins must be placed "out of sight". X liters of cistern volume per sqm of roof area. Cistern water must also be made usable inside the house (I will route it to the shoe-washing sink in the utility room).

All those kinds of things are included with us :)
