I’ll show you our 2-year-old "teak chairs" (this is a photo from last month, as I scrubbed them and removed the grime over the weekend). So, you have to zoom in, they are in the back. So be careful with cheap purchases.

I am currently considering ordering a fairly large (300x150cm) HPL board through an acquaintance.

However, I also need a suitable frame or substructure for it. Does anyone have experience with how it can be mounted anyway? I don't think 4 aluminum feet will be sufficient here, right?

I will certainly have difficulty fastening feet to an 8mm table top thickness... Should the board rather be placed on a frame structure?

I would use a frame structure and glue the panel. A thin panel alone does not have the stability and bends through.

With a frame structure, it really gets difficult dimensionally. No idea where I can get something like that - it should ideally be made of aluminum.

I might also have the panel cut to about 250 x 120 cm.

Does anyone have experience with an 8mm HPL construction on aluminum feet?

You can build a frame with Alusteck (Google is your friend), for example. And combine it with nice feet.
