Ok, I find that a bit surprising now.
My brother had his double garage (precast concrete garage) with sectional door, electric drive, lighting, and an additional door in the rear wall installed two years ago. Costs amounted to around EUR 16,000.00
Our two single garages (precast concrete garage - same manufacturer) now come with sectional doors, electric drive, one door, a rear wall door, and lighting at a quoted price of EUR 23,000.00.

More expensive indeed, but not that significantly after all.

Unit price prefabricated garage 3 x 6 = €4,588.00 (two therefore €9,176.00); unit price double prefabricated garage 6 x 6 = €9,598.00. Both options currently differ by €422.00; plus costs for strip foundations in each case.

A detached garage can also be solid,... We have a width of 3.50 meters - the entrance gate is 3 meters. We have the car in the garage. Children can easily get out on the left and right (adults too) with a VW Touran (which I believe is slightly narrower than the SMax). We were only allowed to build a single garage. With a 2.50 meter gate entrance, you need enough space on the street to maneuver. Our neighbors now have this problem. The street is planned so narrow that they have to maneuver 3-4 times (A4 station wagon) to get into the 2.50 gate entrance/garage.
