Hello everyone.
I am looking for some nice ideas for designing our "front yard".
It is on the east side, with a bit of southern sun coming around the corner.
The actual front yard is then on the south side, and the style there should probably continue similarly to the east side...

One idea would be to cover everything with stones and let grasses grow.
Another thought I had was to plant a hedge along the fence.
Or should I just leave it roughly as it is and simply plant a few new beautiful shrubs and bushes?
The rooms you see are our children’s rooms and unfortunately the main road is also there (from where I took the photos).

Hmm. Do you have an opinion on this? Or some ideas and tips?

Looking forward to suggestions. Thank you!
Mery

I am looking for the front yard in the photos. The one that squeezes itself between the house and the street.
So it includes a path to the front door.
Photos of a front view would be helpful.
Stones instead of a garden? No!

The response will probably be limited because you can’t discern anything from your pictures or your text. How large is the area? How is it laid out? A small hand sketch sometimes works wonders. If it’s really only about 4-5m² of space here, I don’t see a big need for planning either.

Stones so close to the forest who wants to keep them clean.

Is it the only access way to behind the house? If yes, it should remain passable
Possibly just a flower meadow. It does not need to be mowed weekly

If no
Perennials and ground cover

Even here in more rural Bavaria, it has now become a disaster when it comes to these stones in front yards/gardens. Everything gets paved over and filled with colorful gravel, etc.... and then people rush to sign "Rettet die Bienen."

No matter what you do, don't do that.

The bees are dying only because of the farmers. My rock garden and my lawn mower robot are innocent

Looking forward to seeing how it continues. Maybe the dull gardens will disappear again. Supposed to be an overall package
