Low-maintenance, which is relative when it comes to the garden and still looks nice, are perennial gardens with ground cover and natural flower meadows, acid meadows, etc. Something has to be a bit overgrown somewhere for it to have an effect

Such a pergola with wisteria is also a great privacy screen

Yes. The "alternative" to my stone idea would also have been ground cover. My mother also suggested conifers that don't lose their needles, but... well... better ground cover then. Yes. That's true. Pergola with wisteria sounds good. I'll remember that too. Thanks.

From ivy to bear grass to ground cover roses

I think I would need about 5000 sqm right now to implement everything I like

No, then it would also need a gardener. It is fun to dig in the soil outside, but not when it means you have to.
