Thieves always choose the weak spots of the house. And that usually never includes the front door. It's more likely the windows that are tilted open or patio doors. You can break in there much more discreetly as well. I would worry least about the front door and rather check the rest of the house.

My idea would be an additional fingerprint scanner inside or a button that is a bit away from the door/window. Then a knob also works. I think it’s simply a safety option, in case, for example, there is a fire. You shouldn’t have to look for the key first.

Good point, I knew I had forgotten something
As already mentioned, you would have to install a button near the front door to open the door. However, practically none of the solutions is ideal.

And what if there is a fire and the power has gone out? If you already design, then do it properly - although that wouldn't be entirely unreasonable .
