From when is it possible to register a change of address?

I myself moved with my parents in the middle of the second school year and therefore had to change schools. I already had many friends from kindergarten at the old school. At the new school, I still quickly found contact and made friendships. Children have less difficulty with that than one might imagine as an adult.
