True! Not just nice, but much nicer.
I really don't understand why grilles or panels as balustrades in front of floor-to-ceiling windows are supposed to look better than floor-to-ceiling windows that have a cross frame in the middle or at the 80 cm height. And if costs are already making things difficult, I wouldn't hesitate for a second to forgo mechanical attacks on EIFS and plaster.
Honestly? That's totally a matter of taste. For me, these very windows perfectly describe stuffy administrations, and the pretty balcony grille is a feature of coziness. A French balcony made of metal with black wrought lacquer, for example, is already quite an eye-catcher.
