Dear ikeafans,
I intend to hide a few cables behind Framsta wall panels and at the same time place speakers on the corresponding glass shelves. The plan is to screw two FRAMSTA panels next to and below each other on the wall.
The following questions regarding this:
1) Since I have BRESTA cabinets in lacquer white, lacquer white panels would fit well. Are the white Framsta panel inserts also available in lacquer white?
2) If yes, has anyone already drilled a hole in them? I have read that lacquer coatings, e.g. in the BRESTA series, are created by a foil on the color base layer. Therefore, I think drilling could be problematic?
3) How does a cable get from one panel horizontally to the next?
4) Since in my configuration the lower panels do not meet the floor, there is still a piece of cable path to cover there, i.e., in a separately attached cable duct (hardware store). Is there a bit of space at the vertical joint between two panels to lead a cable down?
Thank you very much in advance for your input.
Best regards
