Forward building plan to neighbor?

I would just go there and ask. I don't really think of an inspiration thief. But everyone probably knows a story where a neighbor wanting to build first asked for an approvable building project and later placed double parkers or a tower-high trash bin shed at the boundary, and suddenly the neighbor's paradise was sunk.

We showed the construction plans to our future neighbors to give them the assurance that they know what is coming. At the same time, we also asked what was important to them, and that way the entry was successful for everyone right away. What must be done and what can be rejected are guardrails, between which there is plenty of room for good communication. So far, I have not had to invoke these boundaries of "he is not allowed to do that" and "but I am allowed to do that" with neighbors.

As said, we showed them the plan calmly and there is nothing special on it. They just wanted to have it themselves, simply like that. Our carport should be exactly up to the boundary and the neighbors are planning a fence, to which we also immediately said that it would be no problem.
