Good day. Our pellet heating system in the KfW 70 multi-family house (new building with 6 units) shows a underfloor heating flow temperature of 38 degrees in the heating room. In my opinion, the pellet consumption is quite high. Just over 1 ton of pellets in October (which was not very cold in Oct.). Therefore the question whether a flow temperature of 38 degrees in this new building (the building is dry!) is not too high. Many thanks rudi

Our flow temperature is currently at 24.5°C (when the AT drops below 10°C) However, I do not know how a pellet heating system is controlled... how it cycles... how long it runs and what it does during that time - via buffer?

The temperature in the supply line says little if no flow rate is given. Maybe 34 °C with the pellet stove is also fine. After all, it is not a heat pump, which can work better with low temperatures.

How does the high flow temperature affect the heating in the apartment? Is it already very warm at low control levels and insanely hot at max in the apartment? Maybe it is also the domestic hot water that has this flow temperature?

Good day. I will test that. The heating in the apartment is not running yet! I have read the flow temperature in the heating cellar. I will turn the room thermostat up fully and measure or read the room temperature, the floor temperature, and the flow temperature in my distribution box. Also where the float of the glass tube is located. At the moment, all tubes are fully filled and the marker (red float) is at the very top.

I will get back to you.

Thank you
