How many times now… numbers 1, 2 and three are not to be tampered with. 4 is the only thing you need.

Understood. But I have already stupidly turned at the bedroom (position 1). I just want to know if I accidentally closed the circuit by doing so. If so, it’s no use for me to adjust at position 4.

And no one has yet been able to tell me how to tell if I unintentionally closed a circuit by turning at position 1.

Of course, I won’t turn anything at one of the other circuits (position 1) anymore. That’s locked in.

Is the temperature comfortable in the room? If yes, do not change anything, if too warm, turn it down, if too cold, check if the circuit is fully open and otherwise turn down other rooms.

You have not throttled anything there because you cannot throttle anything there. You can turn the little knob to, for example, visibly turn the scale forward.

And checking if the circuit is fully open means turning counterclockwise at position 1? Or increasing the flow rate at position 4?

Exactly this statement helps me now. So you can only turn at position 1 to make the scale visible. Then I know that I haven't accidentally closed a circuit.

But then I find the sticker from Roth misleading. It says "Flow indicator is only used to shut off the heating circuits." As a layperson, I would interpret that to mean that by turning the scale I can close the heating circuit.
