Hello,

We are currently planning the flooring for our new build. It is to be installed in the living room, kitchen, and bedroom.
We place some value on ecology, which is why PVC floors are practically out of the question.
Tiles feel a bit too hard for us to want to have the whole apartment done with them.
Therefore, it should be a covering that contains as few harmful substances as possible, is not tiles, does not cost more than max. 40 euros per sqm, and of course works as well as possible with underfloor heating...

Does anyone have experience with this or possibly concrete purchase recommendations?

Best regards

On the topic of eco, I could suggest linoleum (Forbo) to you, for example. It is available in many patterns and colors. However, I do not find it suitable for living rooms and kitchens. Bedrooms and children's rooms are more appropriate for it.

With that amount per sqm, you can get the higher quality class of laminate. Possibly bamboo parquet. However, I have heard mixed experiences with underfloor heating.

If not linoleum, then something like goats hair carpet. Tretford. For example.

Isn't that over €70/sqm?

We have bamboo parquet... I can't think of any significant disadvantages with underfloor heating or differences compared to other floors [emoji848]
I find linoleum quite interesting for children's rooms.
Otherwise, I tend to be on the carpet side in bedrooms [emoji5]

I also hear either that it is totally great or that it shrinks too much. If it works, in my opinion it has a good price-performance ratio.
