I suspect the wall in question on the ground floor is load-bearing. The beam above the passage also needs supports, so there must be corresponding wall stubs on both sides of the passage. If I understand correctly, the indicated chimney does not exist, and only the floor and ceiling penetrations for the chimney were made and used for pipes. These could be enclosed in a drywall construction of the same size as the chimney; the wall stub for the beam support would not be any wider either. I therefore do not see any real complication in this respect. Considering the delta between the plan and execution, however, documentation of the actual status seems advisable to me.

I agree. The implementation is complicated insofar as the ventilation pipe runs pretty much in the middle of the wall. A breakthrough with a steel beam would then only be possible in the width of a door.

That sounds like nonsense, or peanuts for an architect.

Certainly, but I am not an architect and I currently lack the implementation idea for it, so I will probably have to seek local advice. Thank you all very much for the help! You have helped me a lot.

Maybe think "out of the box" for once .. and completely redesign everything ... former living space to cooking/dining area, former dining room and kitchen to 2 different sofa seating areas .. possibly add the former dining room to the cooking/dining area.
