Doesn't any of the architects have more knowledge of acoustics today? Hard surfaces everywhere and then an open space above the dining table. The sound plays ping pong in an oil drum. No Bauhaus architect would plan it that way.

First of all, this is not a Bauhaus architect, secondly, you win customers by fulfilling their wishes. That's just how it is.

I have pushed the house a bit further into the plot.

Is that on the right on the next property a garage or a house? Then is the garage standing awkwardly in front of the windows?

How the neighboring property will be developed, we do not know yet. As far as I know, only a garage/carport can be placed directly on the property boundary, the house must maintain a minimum distance. The boundary wall to the neighbor in BY may be a maximum of 27sqm, max. 9m long, 3m high.
