Hello everyone,
we have our meeting with the architect soon, and we were advised not to show up empty-handed, so we have created a floor plan according to our amateur ideas.
What is your opinion on this? Is it practical as it is?
Best regards

Size of the plot: 760m²
Slope: No
Floor area ratio: 0.4
Number of parking spaces: 2
Number of floors: 1.5
Roof shape: Gable roof
Style: Country house
Orientation: West/East
Maximum heights/limitations SH=0.5m FH=9.5

I would appreciate suggestions or proposals for optimization, to provide the architect with enough input so that he can turn it into something buildable.

I wonder why one should not show up empty-handed?

It is the task of an architect to create a floor plan from your wishes that appeals to you. Of course, I would convey the conditions and your wishes as clearly as possible.

I also think that you should leave the floor plan creation to the architect. You should rather clarify which rooms you want, how big, etc. The architect will then take your wishes into account and create a first draft.

Here are a few more suggestions on what you should have clarified or bring with you by the first appointment: plot plan, house type, size / living area, ideas about the room program (number of rooms, size, modern or classic), with basement or without, number of floors, roof shape, rough budget, rough outline of wishes for technical equipment (Passive house? KNX? etc.)

The idea was to explain to the architect using our drawing, following the motto a picture is worth a thousand words; of course, transforming it into something buildable is up to the architect.

And does your picture from #1 now say more than a thousand words?
Create a room program and the collected glossy pictures that one has gathered or photographed oneself in the past. That is enough. If that is not enough for the architect, he should question his profession.

What are we supposed to say about the plan? The north direction, property plan, etc. are missing and the answers to

What immediately stands out .. the dressing room is very inconveniently located and the master bedroom seems to have gotten the best room ;).
