For many, the two larger dressing rooms upstairs will be met with incomprehension, since the planned children's room is smaller, but we have not yet found any other way to enlarge this room. The two bathrooms (one with a shower and one with a shower and bathtub) are important to us.
First of all, thank you for the many responses, even though only 20% of them contained really meaningful statements. I did not write in the initial thread without reason that one should not get upset about the dressing rooms and that we would like the children's room to be a little bigger, but so far I have found no suggestions for improvement.
Meaningful answer: remove the entire upper floor, take a standard staircase and redesign upstairs. In the process, remove one dressing room and plan one that can also be furnished (and not just with dressers). Then the child, who may come later, can also realize that they are welcomed ;)
Well, out of 12 responses, 2 were answers with appropriate criticism and suggestions for improvement, the rest were for the so-called dumping ground...
Of course we don't need a 40 sqm bedroom, I just can't currently arrange the upper floor with the rooms differently and accommodate our wishes (such as 2 bathrooms, children's room not next to the bedroom, bathrooms accessible directly from the hallway, etc.). Therefore, I had hoped here for discussions in the style of improvements on how to design the staircase more sensibly so that the whole thing can be divided somewhat better.
In our family planning, no child is planned in the next 5-6 years and at most one afterwards. But if someday (for whatever reason) it should be two children, the larger dressing room could still have been repurposed.
Have you ever thought that the upper floor is just for the dumping ground and that there are simply no improvements, only worsening changes? Only we are tactful enough to try to tell you indirectly by questioning some things. Because you must have thought of something, but we don't know what. So you are expecting a new plan from us instead of just deleting and starting over?!
You have received enough feedback – you just can't see it because of all the walls and maze
