Hello everyone,
I would appreciate your ideas on the floor plan. We are going to buy my grandma's old house and want to make some adjustments to the floor plan on the upper floor (ground level, due to the hillside location) as part of our renovations. We are still at the beginning of our planning and have more wishes than concrete ideas (see very bottom) – so we welcome any input!

- Do-it-yourself
What do you particularly like? Why?
What do you dislike? Why?
Price estimate according to architect/planner: not yet available
Personal price limit for the house, including equipment: 600
Preferred heating technology: District heating available
If you have to dispense with which details/extensions
- you can dispense with: daylight bathroom
- you cannot dispense with: more open kitchen concept
Why is the design the way it is now? e.g.
Standard design from the planner?
Which wishes were implemented by the architect?: -
A mix of many examples from various magazines...
What makes it particularly good or bad in your eyes?
What is the most important/fundamental question about the floor plan summarized in 130 characters?

What is the most important/fundamental question about the floor plan summarized in 130 characters?
[*]We would like ideas on the floor plan, what could be done, as well as assessments of the rough drafts I’ve made so far
[*]The goal is to make the internal bathroom somewhat more modern and brighter, either by remodeling to a daylight bathroom or via top windows
[*]The narrow kitchen should be made more open (I would love a kitchen island but haven’t had a really good idea yet)
[*]The house has two entrances, we are considering removing one entrance with vestibule or replacing it with a terrace door and taking down the wall to create a larger dining area
