House design
Who is the planner: -Do-it-Yourself
What do you like in particular? Why? We like the articulation of the cube with the clinker brick elements of the simple extension in combination with the hipped roof. Good use of the west sun and bright rooms despite the north orientation
What do you not like? Why? We are still unsure about the stairs. Possibly 2*1/4 turn stairs better?
Price estimate according to architect/planner:
Personal price limit for the house, incl. fittings:
Preferred heating technology: ground source heat pump
If you have to do without, which details/extensions
-you can do without: fireplace
-you cannot do without: 4 bedrooms on the upper floor, the “extension” of the living room differentiated by clinker brick
Why did the design end up as it is now? For example: We wanted 3 not too small children’s rooms (>14sqm) and a master bedroom on the upper floor.
Standard design from the planner? Own design
Which wishes were implemented by the architect?
A mix of many examples from various magazines...
What makes it particularly good or bad in your eyes?
What is the most important/basic question about the floor plan summarized in 130 characters?
Hello, we are sending our design for our future single-family house for review. What does your experience say, does this floor plan work, do you see major weaknesses? We would appreciate feedback! Thank you!
