At first glance, I like the draft.
I would set at least two priorities differently:
1. More light in the kitchen. Hard to implement with the location of the garage.
2. A separate bathroom for the parents – this becomes relevant when the children enter their teenage years, but at least take the toilet out of the shared bathroom.
Where I have a question mark:
1. Use of the pantry compared to using a cupboard solution
2. Positioning and openness of the access to the dressing room
What comes to mind:
1. Balcony in front of the bedroom
2. The children can easily sneak in and out unnoticed over the garage roof and welcome guests.
3. If the parents’ bedroom and the children’s room above the kitchen are swapped, a window to the hallway would be possible
4. How do you build a laundry chute from the bathroom on the 1st floor into the laundry room?
What I like:
1. No fear of generous use of space and the necessary budget framework for it.
2. Large children’s rooms – from teenage age on the size is great. Sleeping, working, chilling – that requires some space. Also, something can remain set up without disturbing at the next opportunity.
3. Structure of the dining and living area with the slightly protruding fireplace
4. Inviting entrance area
