Hello everyone,
I have changed a few things in our floor plan. 00 is the previous floor plan and 01 would be my idea.
The advantage of 01 would be a window in the kitchen, more space in the utility room. If a covered entrance is desired, it can be done (it does not necessarily have to be a side entrance door from the carport).
What do you think?
My other thought is about the entrance door from the living room, that a sliding door makes the most sense. But there is about 17 cm missing for that. There were 2 suggestions: 1. move the wardrobe 17 cm into Child 1 2. make the office, utility room, and kitchen 17 cm narrower. I don’t really like either of those.
Does anyone perhaps have a better idea?
Maybe other suggestions and improvements?
We would be very happy to hear your opinions.

Regards

I like it better that way too. Maybe you could also link your original floor plan thread?

It just occurred to me :-( I correct my sentence with ,,dich" instead of ,,dir"

I would also like to note here: with us, two parking spaces for cars placed one behind the other are not permitable. Each parking space must be freely accessible. I don’t know if it’s the same with you, maybe check just to be on the safe side.

Definitely paint the door from the already very small utility room into the garage, no matter which version it will be. Otherwise, I wouldn’t want to do without a window in the kitchen.

I believe you currently have only one child, right? Otherwise, I would swap the bedroom with Ki2 and possibly consider whether this room could also have direct access to the terrace/garden (for reasons of parity *g*). As long as child 2 is still very young, you can of course use the room as a parents’ bedroom.

I would make all doors relevant for the child in a wheelchair sliding doors.

Thanks for the notes,
The cars are only there for illustrative purposes to see if two cars can be parked there and the backwards parked car has more free space because of the wheelchair, otherwise carport about 6x3.5 and storage room 3x3.5.
The second reason for the side entrance door was dirty shoes, but with that I wouldn’t come inside the house uncleaned anyway. So it makes more sense to have a frost-proof faucet. (Where exactly? In the carport or terrace side? The order only includes one frost-proof faucet.)
We made a compromise for the bedrooms and child 2, since we don’t want/can’t reduce the bathroom size and child 2’s room is too small for a bedroom with double bed and wardrobe, so we accepted it as the only solution.

The neighbor’s garage end on the right is 14.5 m away from the boundary point, so opposite the kitchen window (I found out today). Does it still make sense to have a window for the kitchen?
