Floor-level open shower, what size?

Hello,

does anyone here perhaps have practical experience?

What size should a floor-level "open" (3 walls) shower be so that the water does not splash out significantly?

We were recommended in the sanitary trade that the length of our future shower (floor-to-ceiling, one side open) should be at least 1.20-1.40.

Buddy said that it is always cold and causes a mess :D He recommended at least 1.5 m (they probably only have 1 m)

We were told multiple times 1.40m and so we planned it that way. ;-)

@ I can't confirm that... but maybe your buddy doesn't have warm water in the shower... Ours is 1.2 m wide... and a bit splashes out... so I wouldn't go any narrower... 1.4 - 1.5 m would probably be perfect...

I think he is just very sensitive ;-)
